Fall 2021 EcoSattva Training BC Islands Online Group

“The EcoSattva training I took this Spring is still helping me face the emotional trauma of climate change, keep clear of despair and not lose faith in my deep self, in humanity and life.”

Hosted by the Salt Spring Zen Circle

Fall 2021 EcoSattva Training – BC Islands Online Group – September 7 – December 14, 2021 (Click here for further information)

The Salt Spring Zen Circle will be hosting an online study group this Fall to explore how Buddhist teachings can support us through the crisis brought about by climate change.  We will follow One Earth Sangha’s EcoSattva Training, which consists of a series of videos featuring leading voices in Ecodharma, as well as background materials and suggested practices.  We will meet online every other week to discuss the materials and other concerns we may have about current events surrounding the climate crisis.  Through this process, we will build sangha (community) around our shared concern for the future of our planet and to support each other in our individual responses to climate change.

The sessions will be facilitated by Bill Henderson and Gabriela Persson.  The group will be limited to 10 participants to encourage discussion.  For further details click here.  If you have any questions, please email bcislands.ecosattva@gmail.com or call Marion Pape at +1 (778) 265-4567.
