The Sangha Jewel and the Spiritual Path
Please join us as we explore the foundational ways that the study and practice of the precepts, and the spiritual friendship offered by sangha, support our journey of awakening and living our lives for the benefit of all beings.
The retreat will be held in-person at Beaver Point Hall on Salt Spring Island from October 25th-27th and will be led by our lay entrusted teachers, Judy Daylen and Simon Rompre.
Participation via zoom is possible if you are unable to join us in person.

DOKUSAN (Private Interviews)
Lay entrusted teachers, Judy Daylen and Simon Rompre, will be offering private interviews (dokusan) to attendees during sesshin.
DANA AND FEES
Donations (dana) for our lay entrusted teachers teachings are not included in the registration fee. They may be made directly via PayPal or by e-transfer, where they will be gratefully received.
REGISTRATION SLIDING SCALE FEES
Registration fees for in-person sesshin are on a sliding scale from $200 – $325.
Registration for on-line attendance are on a sliding scale from $125 – $250.
No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. If you need to make alternative fee arrangements, please contact our registrar, Julie Dubuc, at: sszc.registrar@gmail.com.
All fee payments are appreciated and support the ongoing function of our sangha. Payment of full fee amounts help defray sangha expenses and contribute to scholarship funding for participants who may require financial support to attend.
