When we practice in the zendo and during sesshin, there is a dana bowl for students to make donations for the teachings offered.
Dana is the practice of mutual generosity between teacher and student, and has long been a sustaining practice in Buddhist communities.
Please consider donating through our digital dana bowl below. The suggested donation for teachings given at Wednesday night zazen and Sunday study sessions is $5-20.
For teachings given at sesshin (retreat), we recommend $50 per day of retreat. With these suggestions in mind, please offer what is appropriate for you at a given time. All donations are received with gratitude.
Salt Spring Zen Circle is a registered non-profit society and relies on donations. General donations go towards regular operations including space rental, retreats, and other costs. Thank you for your support of the Salt Spring Zen Circle community.
